Locking bolt key thingy..

Dont ask how but last night when refitting my wheels I managed to crack the key righ tup the side. Maybe didnt have it on flush or something...whatever, is it possible to buy a new one off Renault as I do believe it is just the standard one or should I just buy new locking nuts?

Can get them from Renault. Not sure on price. If they're anything like Ford there's probably only 4 different keys anyway.

Will need to get one or else knowing my luck i'll end up in the s**t th enext time I try to remove a wheel

You'd presume they are identical , but for example my locking nut key didn't fit on a fellow cliosport member's cup ??? defo need to try it b4 you buy it

s**t i did this yesterday too, the garage did mine up tooooooo tight got the 3 bolts undone, but round and broke the locking key when trying to get the wheel off, really hoping the garage can get it off tomorrow as its going in, uhoh

thats what im thinking? guess they can weld something to the end of the bolt?

I think thats where the damage was done for me same as mr clio 16v...the driver rear was unbelievably tight, almost ended up with a hernia trying to get th ebeast off!

Renault dealership in Coventry have quoted me £120 to remove and replace my locking nuts as I've lost the key

car went in earlier, garage hasnt rung yet saying they cant get the wheel off so hope its cool lol
