whining noise at 60mph ish

Hi Guys

I've been noticing this whining noise when I've been traveling upto 60. It's quiet upto about 55 then gets noiser but seems to die down at 70.

It's probably the gearbox on its way out, but any other ideas? Its on 82k.

could be fella. that was my 2nd guess. its just hard to actually identify were exactly the noise is from.

i get a tiny whining, assume its from my gearbox, only get it at certain speeds and only at certain load levels, i wouldnt worry about it

Jack the car up and spin the wheels and listen for noises, also check for play and movement.

i have exactly the same noise mate starts at 50-55 and goes away above 60-65 i thought it was just in 5th but it also comes on in fourth gear, i;ve tried alsorts checking gbox oil level, changing the oil, i was thinking it was a wheel bearing but dont think it is

deffo a wheel bearing, i had that. Changed both my rears and cured it right up.
