Yeah probably, i was overwhelmed by the idea of block polishing.

(but im fairly sure its iron)

Did that myself mate, over a year and a half, there are places that will do it but you'll need to send bits of your engine off to them. I "think" Yozzasport offer some sort of polishing service and Im sure some one will link you to another place that does it but I cant remember the name...

I should seriously start a business with the number of requests I get!

Just give it a go on a part under the plastic cover first, you'll have it done in no time.
