because of bad traffic I only arrived 20 mins before the end so was in a real rush and the light was fading fast so it was rather difficult to take decent pics.

Got a few keepers though!

canon 350d with a 70-200 F4 L lens.

nope, was just spectating this time, can't afford it after ordering the new car.

So didn't get to drive the R27, sat in it and the seats are, well, nice for a track but i'm not sure how long i could take them on a long motorway journey.

The 175 DCi RS megane seemed good, didn't even know it was a diesel until i looked closely at the end and heard the engine tickover.

The R26 megane also sounds a lot different with the revised exhaust, you can defo notice the difference.

i think kathy said she drove it and it was better than the normal 197, or i could have imagined that.

I think the surprise of the day was the DCi 175, it performed exceptionally well, just needed a different driving style what with second gear coming quicker than a teenager in a brothel

I thought the 197 was very good on track - just felt as if it lacked a bit of grunt/poke. I want to know if the improved chassis helps overcome that feeling.

test drove a 197 today and that was not lacking in any grunt at all.... very good fun i'd go as far as saying.... from the 3 i've had testdrives in this one felt the best tbh
