Not seen this on here.

Think this looks quite cool, comes with a 1.2 Turbo engine (100bhp)

Could have some good tunning potential. Antone know anything about it?

Nope, thats how it looks, it's a Dynamic XS, normal "S" don't have it on.

Its got similar 0-60 times as the 1.6 16v! just not much top end and around 65 MPG!

you never know dude.. those tuned 1.3 t starlets are rapid.

The difference being that those Starlets weighed a bit less than the 3 ton kerb weight of the Mk3 Clio.

Then they will add larger wheels, more cabin crap and before you know it, nearly all of the 'benefits' of that turbo will be counter-acted.

The idea is the power of the 1.4 but with the economy of the 1.2

apparently power of a 1.4, torque of a 1.6 and MPG of a 1.2!

if it was in a light MK2 shell it would be perfect, wont be to bad when revs get up in the mk3 tho.

decent exhaust, filter, remap, suspension & brakes it would be quite quick.

i was really tempted to get one but i prefered a 5dr
also i didnt want a another 1.2 or the top spec 106dci which are the only choices
a dci86 plus a remap should gives more poke then a 106 for less then the 106 an its only 35quid a year to tax


but im still lusting after that body kit which you can buy from reno 800quid mind you would it look as good on a 5dr

From memory I think the 1.6 and 1.4 don't meet new emissions so they've brought in the 1.2 Turbo to replace them.

Yup torque is similar to the K4m in 1600 form and power close to the K4m in 1400 form.

Emissions are significantly lower than both.
