Car grinds when turning, but only at a certain angle, gets see anything rubbing, any ideas of anything i could have missed?

yeah, well it might do it at high speed, but would probably flip the car if i turned it enough to make it happen. lol

im hoping that buying the strut top knocking washers will fix this. Other than that i have no idea what it could be,

im going to buy some and pray that it fixes this problem as it is slightly uncomfortable turning it when it feels like its grinding!.

Don't think it's the pads, as they had about 40% left a month ago, but getting new disk and pads soon anyway, maybe that will cure it.

ok mate, just a thought.

could be a stone tho, see quite a few cars at work with stones trapped behind the disc, just another thought. and before someone says 'stones dont make a noise' or some s**t like that, im trying to help the guy

lol noisy stones! think if it does it after new disks i'll look into it more.

Cheers

i get the same sort of problem. mine only does it when i turn to the right at slow speeds. it hasnt always done it, maybe a disc and pad change will sort it out. seems odd though.

Probably just the inside of the tyre touching the arch liner. Mine does it occasionally, its no biggy doesnt do any damage just sounds bad!

went shopping today and in the multi story on full lock turning right my car did the same!!!! it made a judder sound, at first i thought im in the wrong gear but went into first and it still done it. maybe tyres rubbing? maybe pads i think mine are on the low side? or is it renault?
