What will you be using at FCS?

FCS isn't too far away now.

Most of us are travelling quite a fair bit to get there... So even if we clean our cars on the saturday, they will be quite dirty by the time we get there on sunday.

Is anyone putting anything on their car once they get to FCS. I have seen AG do a product called 'Show Shine'. Is this any good?

Depending on the weather really as to how dirty it gets on the way up.

Full Wash if need be using Quick and easy wash and few litres of water.
Zymol Quick Detail Spray followed by Zymol Feild Glaze Spray Wax
AG Tyre Dressing and Vinyl and Rubber on Relevant parts
Clearkote Quikshine on the glass.

Mine will be as it is when it gets there, dead flys and the lot at a guess as I cant be bothered washing it again on the Sunday am.

Might hide it at the back of the tent if im allowed lol

AG Show Shine is poor just like using Pledge on your paint, no real lubrication to stop dust scratching - I use it as a quick once ober product for my wheels

Last yr we washed all the bus's outside the hotel it was crazy!

I do 20 miles in the 182 and it is fly city, 1000 miles in the daily bus nothing!

Ill clean the car this Saturday - Commute to work for the wee, wash it at 5am on the day and drivelike a knob for 13 mins til I get there and ruin the hard work!!!

My schedule:

Friday - Off work, full detail on the car.

Saturday morning - Travel the 300 odd miles down. Flys included.

Saturday afternoon - Ask the hotel owner if they could provide water. If so then wash car e.t.c.

Evening - Beer, Cider and other.

Sunday at show - Some quick detailer and perhaps a bit more tyre gloss.

Drive home the 300 miles. Sleep. Game over.
