Best Way to get replacement key?

I have a Mk 2 clio with an alarm immobiliser, Renault are asking 75+85 Labour to get me a spare!! Any other options? Can i reprogram myself?

Nope Renault only or any place with a Renault CLip computer £45 for the plastic fob bit and £12 for the metal key bit then about half an hours labout usually.

Ask them most noen dealerships even a big place don't there £5k list price.

There are a few other kits which can program them but again there not cheap.

yeah i approached renault and they quoted me ahem £152 inc. vat.
not good, but surprisingly (arnold clark who lost the key before i bought hte car and never told me) said they could get me one for £40 coded to the car. but i told them to stuff it, and find my key!! found it . it has went round 7 deallerships and was eventually found near inverness, and i'm from glasgow ish, and the car was traded into th clarks in paisley.(20 miles away)
