hey guys, my name is mickey from blackburn!! just joined up. im 19, 20 next month.

i own a saxo vts..posi blue...done a lil bit to it!!

anyway i am after buying a clio 182..around an 05 reg with about 25k on the clock..in red i think!!

just want some advise on buying one...and what to look for

Not muc realy check for accident damage all the electric work the car goes and stops right any problems or queriest you have drive another car.

Idealy check it has the Cup suspenion pack for resale. (or is a Cup).

nice saxo! the only red clios are the trophys i think. they do a inferno orange 182 though. should be able to get a 182 for £8k ish? although if you wait a while and look deep, im sure you could get a bargain.
my cousin recently got an 04 182 in blue with cup packs for £7k, with 30k on clock, from a private sale.

yeah, they look nice in that colour. my mum has a clio in that colour, but its not a 182 . Dont think she'd be able to handle the power though!:rasp:

There are some fakes the easy way toi tell is the wheel the dark grey have cup packs however you realy need to check since some cars have the wheels added afterwards and not the whole suspension package of springs dampers etc.

Some cars had there wheels swoped when they left the garages as owners wanted the light/dark coloured wheels ragardless of it they did or didn't havew the suspension pack and garages obliged.
