Yes. It's not saying much to be honest, the GTis around mine are all chavved up and look 100% gash. one lad has a twin 4 inch exhaust, you know the one where the point out in different directions. He's also cut "GTI" out of the bonnet and put mesh behind it. Looks amazing

Think it would look better lifted 10 mm at the rear, but mint car.

I'm not sure on the lights either. But i'm trying to keep it STD as possible. Still got the STD exhaust on albeit with a 4-2-1 manifold.

Yeah! I hate the front and rear black plastic bits around the peugeot badges. I'd much rather just have a small chrome peugoet badge on the boot.

BMC filter and a 4-2-1 manifold. It ran 141bhp with a pugsport exhaust on. It now has a std exhaust though since both me and rich did/do a lot of miles.

How do you compare your old GTi to your 172.

I went 172 - Westfield - GTi.

I like the GTi more to drive. Its equally as quick. It may slight lack some go when changing from 5th to 3rd to overtake. Still i've beaten a few mates in thier 172's.

The interior isn't as good as a 172 niether is fuel consumption in comparison.

I loved my 106gti! It was a nippy little thing. I only ever had a drive against 2 172's in the whole time I owned it. Mine was std. and both pulled away, but not that much.

I went 106gti - 306 LX - Trophy - 172FF.

The only bad part of the 106 for me was the interior design and the pedal layout.

Overall I prefer my 172, for the price with all the toys I don't think theres much that can compare to it. It was great seeing peoples faces when they were beaten by a lil 106!

i had a quicksilver i no not as fast as a GTi but was my first car,

Hated the interior, wasnt to slow tho was rather light.

My Hdi Dturbo was moonstone - Got nothing but positive comments about the colour.

Very Rare in Gti form. There were only 3 that colour at FCS.

Colour coding and lowering does wonders for them tbh. Everything thing else should be laft STD as said.
