I'll see what Nigel has to say as he's closest otherwise it would be whoever is prepared to travel to Walsall or I can travel to you if it's not too far.

I'm fine with fitting the headunit and ipod adaptor. Front and rear speakers are fine. Wireing amp should be ok as well. You'd just need to decide on a way to fix the amps in place (back of the seats again?).

Are you 100% all the wiring is included? Are there tweeters for behind the dash? How many pre outs are on the headunit? I take it the Alpine amp powers front and rear speakers and JBL amp powers Sub?

My only problem is I'm not here this weekend but I am the following weekend. I wouldn't think you'd get it all fitted (without bodging) in an evening!

As far as I know Nigel it's literally been taken out of a Mk1 172 with everything/wiring included so I assume (rightly or wrongly) that it will simply go back in a Mk2 172 without any fuss.

You'd just need to decide on a way to fix the amps in place (back of the seats again?)

If it's possible to attach them to rear seats then that's fine with me.

I've got to "thingy" screwdrivers, star shaped things, and the usual spanners, screwdrivers etc..

As you can tell I'm not really used to this type of thing lol
