mmmm knocking on my ph1 172

Noticed this the over day, knocking coming from the front part, at around 2,000 RPM. When sinking the clutch whilst driving there is a funny noise. What could this be. Talk to me guys
 
Thrust release bearing for the clutch I'd bet.

As for the knokcing check you drivshafts for play and then youe engine mounts and positon.

Cheers edde I'll mention this to the garage. Not driving it as I cant be asked to cause more problems.

Could be the thrust bearing, common for them to dry up/wear out. Does the car whistle when the clutch is not pressed down? Otherwise the knocking could be your engine mounts.
