decat noise

when the car is idling from cold it is making a lot of noise, more of a knocking/rattle noise tho.
need to check all the bolts are tight. but could it be anything else?

the silence after the CAT, when its cold give it a tap and listen for a rattle inside it. Dont do it after the engines been running coz you'll burn your hand!

no worries mate, if it is that get an aftermarket cat back on there.

what so if it rattles when i tap it, take the decat out and put the cat back in? will the centre section need replacing? or will it be ok?

will the centre section need replacing? yes, a cat/decat back exhuast will replace this and the back box. or will it be ok?

just checked what the problem

loose bracket between the decat pipe and the centre section
no noise/rattle when i tapped the centre section.
its all good
