How do you change your dash trim on Mk2Ph2?

Hi all I want to change my dash trim, getting some brushed metal style ones from a scrappers, how do I change them? Thanks

Just pull them off i'd imagine.

they simply pull out with some force. or if you want the "gently gently" approach, use a broad flat blade screwdriver on the underside of the trim and prise it off

Well i have them already but they gone rusty on each end lol weird like they have discoloured and gone orange,

I dont mean literally rusty i mean rusty looking. They arent only 172 they are privilege too.
