it will be better than before :D plan is to have the whole car blown over when its in getting done...so nice shiny new paint..no swirls at all, then 4 brand new wheels from renault to match the paint.. and then deck its arse on H&R coilovers...

then stick it in the garage in an air chamber and drool at it and keep it clean lol...also...this will prevent it turning 20,000 miles sooner :P

From the first two pics it still looks awesome.

Whack ti on ebay with the first two pics and sell it as sold as seen ;):rasp:

I would think twice about getting the whole car painted unless it really needs it tbh.

No swirls after painting is also another issue - The car will have to be polished after painting which is where a high percentage of my work comes from in correcting holograms and marks left by bodyshop mop attempts after painting.

It would look mint with a huge intercooler where the bumper used to be lol.

Looks nice considering its goosed

Indeed..

Most of the work i've done recently on newish cars have either been because of dealers 'prep' work or correction work after painting..

Black gold is a very very difficult colour to get right because of the gold flake/glitter in it so please keep this in mind matey..

If you require a hand with it i'd certainly be happy to help as would Beavis..

You woke me up this morning you knob! lol

Silver and black like i said...Simple, effective, classy and subtle (If a vee can be) - Glad you're listenin to scottish on this one.

as rich said i would think again about having the rest of the car painted, you will be disappointed with the results regardless of who does it. Blow into the next panel, sure, to get a colour match but i would leave it there to be honest.

Fair play to you, I'd do the same,

However, I'd just get painted what needs painting, I wouldnt do any more!

hmmm...you guys have got me thinking about the re-paint then??

i just want "the perfect vee"...and thought whats better than new paint??

it will be getting the full PC treatment from the man scotland as soon as its out...but im worried about the front end looking newer than the rest of the car...

as for blowing into the panels like the doors...surely the wings and bumper/bonnet will be painted off the car anyways???

All the depends on the person doing it. Bumper and bonnet off the car in most cases. Chances are the wings will be painted on the car and blown into doors.

Renault paint is not the best but you will struggle to find someone to paint a car as good, without trying lots of bodyshops, paying lots of money to do it right as to get a perfect full body re-spray a strip down to a bare shell is the only way.

couple of ideas...

silver wheels...decked, black vents

veeperfect.webp

silver vents....

veelowered1.webp

either way...it looks the shizz lowered on silver rims :D

Why on earth does everything have to be 'decked'?! Im all for the vents idea but you want it to be practical. I.e Able to negotiate a drain cover!

I had a black car once and paid an absolute fortune to have the sides and bonnet repainted, it was never the same again

I actually prefer the look of it at its standard height. Doesn't look right decked but thats that whole 'each to their own' thing i suppose.

I hate this whole 'slammed' culture.

I'd rather rub salt and piss into an open wound than drive a slammed to the floor car as a driver.
V6 is fine, 182 could be a tad lower thats it lol.
Gay gay gay. lol.
