limited slip diff?

does anybody know how much k-tec charge to fit this? and is it any good on the road, sick of wheel spin in 1st and 2nd

its about 7hours labour to take the box out and refit it, plus the strip down of the box

i can recommend a few places to do it depending where you are in the uk

heard loads of gd things about import type-r,mazda mps,focus rs all having the lsd fitted

Mazda mps doesn't have a physical diff I think (if we're talking about the 3 mps). It has an electronic system that tries to act like a diff.

quaiffe are ATB though, id go for a gripper or avanti

i have a avanti LSD

with the avanti if you go for the bolt on crown wheel like mine.. you can have differnt final drives. but those diffs are around 1.8k

think the normal LSD is £1100

The plate types need more maintenance though and on a road car this would be expensive unless you could get the box out yourself.
