Can any body tell me the part that the bolts are screwed on to which hold the wheel on. think i need a new 1

Should be able to get one from a scrappers, sorry i've no idea on the price.

i had to get a new hub for my mk1 a few months back cost me £35 quid from me local scrappy an was in pritty good nick.

that part is the hub flange
and if you do get one you will need a new wheel bearing and a press to seperate the old one and fit the new one

True, one the mk1 the bearing and hub are sold all together so i ddint have this problem but ye u will need to find a garage or summat thatll seperate it for ya.
