Phase 1 172 Immobiliser issue !

Last night car would not start. Turned over with all lights but will not catch. Tried again this morning and it fires up first attempt. I guess this is immobiliser related. Common issue ? How can i get the immobiliser checked out ? Any diagnostics stored in ecu ?

Dont want to get stranded again........

if it is flashing when trying to start , means immobiliser issue , try your spare key when you have the problem , might be key or coded ring fault.

Yeah exactly right. If the spare key works then you're fine
