Pads sound fine, are the discs pitted at all?

u mean grooved??? i had a mechanic friend check them as i thought my pads were on the way out and he says the discs look quite new. really weird noise when braking but not all the time, sometimes it feels like i am pushing the pedal to the ground and can feel heavy vibrations going through the pedal as if its dragging along the ground, and it sounds as if sometimes the wheel is still spining on my passenger side, i use sounds like very strongly there as i doubt this is actualy happening

sounds like a dodgy abs sensor is kicking in. If that happens it will very quickly apply the brakes on and off whilst you put the brakes on...this causes the vibrations.....i cant imagine the discs being warped to cause a vibration if they are as new as you describe. Take it to a garage to get it checked.

Might also have air in the brake lines if you can put your foot all the way down to the floor
