Saw that yesterday doing my shopping.

had hdmi... but no idea on the resolution (720p/i etc... no idea what it was)

but it was 32 inch for £399.

Was thinking of making a purchase for my bedroom.

Anyone bought one of these? Or got any suggestions for a bedroom tv at this price?

Ah fair enough, yeah they have been selling those for a little while now both in the 32" and the 42", in the store I worked in we never had one returned and they sold like hot cakes, people always said what a good price it was. I think Sainsburys bought a set number of units of Sony, that way they could afford to sell them so cheap.
I not techical so I don't know if its any good in that respect im afraid.

All Sony's are Bravias, just the brand name. It should be the KDL32U3000, entry level 32. A great second TV for your bedroom. Will be 720p/1080i. Decent image processors and colour. 2 x HDMI etc. Basically the same technology as last year's S series which I had.

If it's the U2000 then go elsewhere as it will be cheaper as it's quite old. If it is the U3000 then that's a decent price.

cool, cheers for the amazon link.

tbh, i know it ain't going to set the tv world on fire, but it is for the bedroom really.

I've wanted one for the bedroom for ages as have been using a 13inch crappy tv for years now.

for 399 it is really good value imo.

u series are like supermarket sector aren't they? pant colour engine etc.
That's where he saw it...As my first post said, they are entry level but it's for his bedroom, more than adequate. It's a much better model than last years too.

lol. Don't be fooled into thinking everything in costco is cheap. My TV was over £300 more expensive in costco.

My telly was about £200 cheaper there, but was still over a grand... so its not really mega cheap :/

Well then you got done. Mine was £700! lol..

Always a smart ass...Where from?

I could be wrong, & you're making me actually want to check but #I'm not running the risk of you being right ;)

Edit: I'm wrong, it was over a grand in Currys (maybe comet) because it had a different product code but was EXACTLY the same TV... however, in Costco it was somewhere around the same kinda money you paid for yours. So not a huge amount of difference.
