where have people earthed their amps?

Hi, just a quickie, if you have mounted your amp in the boot, where is the best place to attach the earth wire?

On my old clio i drilled a hole in the boot floor.

Yep use the isofix bar bolts.

open boot, left hand side or right, theres a Bolt holding like a hooking place, there

Easiest place is the rear of the light screw.. scratch a small bit of paint off and undo the light, then put the ground wire round the screw and screw it back in to the rear of the light. 5 second job

this is probably a bit different, but mine's earthed behind the o/s rear quarter panel, everywhere i tried in the boot was poor, it's been there now 2 years and gives a great earth, and i'm runnin 2 alpine amps, everything's amped woo!

Mine was earthed on the bolt that holds the rear lights in, was only in an hour though, lol

under the rear seats theres a little loop with a hole big enogh to screw ur earth wire to! i have used both these for both my amps haha

also increases the volt drop at the amps (due to increased resistance)

so not a good idea

yea great idea if you want ground loop noise like alternator whistle

use mounting hole below rear seat belt reel on the rear 1/4
