hi everyone, I know pioneer make direct fitment speakers for the clio but i am interested in the Vibe SE-K50 speakers. http://www.vibe-audio.co.uk/products/sek/. I was just wondering will these be easy enough to install, i see the clio has 2 mounting posts as oppose to 4...any help?

i assume they will be driven via an external amp in conjunction with a sub??? if not, then your wasting your money.....

OK, they should fit with no issues....simply follow these posts....

Try drilling the other holes in carefully?

should fit easy use self tappers

I had no problems installing them in mine. Excellent speakers and don't need to amp them if you're changing the head unit.

you like the way they perform off headunit power, (at most 10watts rms on music), imagine how they perform correctly installed & driven, (yes, i know your simply running as if at lower volume, but, with fairly low sensitivity coupled with heavier suspension, these components crave power)....headunits are not capable of driving these components correctly, simple as that....Vibe actually give a recommended minimum input for these units, (its 45w rms per ch), so i wonder if a set driven via a headunit would be covered under warranty.....probably not due to the increased likelyhood of clipping.....

iv got a set of the SE-K50's and they are incapable of being driven properly on any head unit, (unless its putting out 70w per ch) the 45w is just enough to get them moving lol

i stuck a 4 channel amp on mine and run them at 100w to get the best out of them, very very good sound, excelent component speaker very clear and crisp voice but a punchy base, proveded they are driven properly
