yeah ofcourse you can always learn. We had 3 20min sessions each throughout the day. The videos of the incar footage are from the 2nd sessions so we were abit better in the 3rd session.

only way to learn is by doing it

its really good, much better than i thought tbh! grips very well on the yokohama paradas and is very predictable. Straight line speed i kept up with an evo up to 100 on the back straight

yeah thats a compilation of both us driving. Im the one with the thicker rimmed glasses and the yellow helmet. Hes the one with the smaller glasses and black helmet.

whats been done to this clio then carl? get yourself some toyo R888's, i went round rockingham at FCS with those on and when mark was driving on the 11.30 sessions he was doing 110mph if not more on that oval bend when it seemed like most people were just taking there time. bit scary like but there awesome tires.

i know morky rates the paraba's though

its got Cat Cams 420's, Group N ecu (not mapped to the car), powerflow exhaust with decat, battery relocated to boot, open induction kit behind the front light, half stripped. Its 183bhp atm but when its mapped it should be around 190bhp with lots more torque.

getting some corbeau forza seats this week so the front will be stripped hopefully by the end of the week.

The plan was to get R888's actually. It was only when my dad spoke to one of his mates who recommended paradas that we decided to go for them. He could get them discounted aswell so only cost £112 for 4 of them.

cant complain at that price like. still the toyo's are awesome, when i did the 2.30 session at fcs i wasn't expecting the car to be so planted. on the roads with just its normal crappy tires on its terrible. but with those tires and a rear strut brace it was a completely different car

yeah ive only heard good things about the toyos. The car has got a cage in so it makes it very ridgid which is nice. Next mod i think will be coilovers as there is too much bodyroll with Eibach Proline springs. After driving that for a day my road car feels so tame and i really do not see the need to drive quickly on roads any more. What you can do on the roads is only 50% of what you can do on the track due to the grip.

i agree with u there like, after being on track it makes you realise there's no point.

i need not talk though, i have a heavy right foot haha

Was fun really enjoyed it. For some reason my parents trusted carl more than me out on track :<
But i did manage to scare carl alot , have the bug now tho, so need to find me some cash from somewhere :<

Make sure you've got it set in the options to 16:9 picture ratio when you transfer to the PC, then when you save it, make sure you do it as 856 x 480 resolution (I use Windows Movie Maker and normally have to increase the file size to do this).

That's the only settings I've found that let your widescreen videos play correctly/unsquished on YouTube.

Steering looked OK to me.

ok thats awesome, thanks a lot If you have any advice how we can improve feel free to pm some tips etc :star: Ive caught the bug now, already got the next one planned for next month.

You're right, i haven't been on the track, but i've watched videos of in car action, and can tell!

What happened at the end, when someone said 'omg what the f**k is he doing' ? lol

get an instructor at the next trackday, worth it , better than any car mod.
