Component/Amp Help

Thought i would ask on here as im pretty sure there are a few ICE guru's on here! Basically I want to upgrade my front speakers, and probably amp them up?! Though I dont have much idea what I'm looking for tbh..

8" is the size of the standards I think.. Any recommendations?

What what WHAT!!! The noise is good enough without the stereo!!

Buy a decent set of comps and see how they feel, if they still need a punch then look into an amp solution. Where would you put an amp?!

for the tvr?where are talking fitting them?front doors?i dont know of a car to have 8" speakers fitted as standard apart from the sub packs for 350z's etc.what type of speaker you want?comps or co-ax's?id get a set of speakers which have the option of being amped,fit them then if your not happy then buy and amp as you may find your happy without it

vw touareg has 8's in the front doors and the RX8. Not that its relevant but hey!

And Celica GT-4's.

8" mids are hard to find in the aftermarket sector. Maybe buy/make some converter baffles so you can fit some 6.5" ones?

Sorry, didnt mean 8"! think they are roughly 6" lol

Ideally I dont want to mess about with tweeters, would rather just one pair for the doors... Which ones should i be looking at?

Amp could go anywhere really, hidden in boot, under dash, under seats
