Buying Advice?

I'm going to look at a Flame Red 172 on Wednesday but having never bought one before I wondered if you'd be so kind as to provide me with a list of things to look/listen out for?

I owned it for 2 days, then gave it straight back!

I did however see they guy from the garage I bought the car from in a pub a couple of months back, from what he said I know the car has been re sold through auction at some point. The car will have no history of damage etc and has been put back together by a monkey!
