Is my car colour metallic?

May sound like a ridiculous question, but is my car classes as metallic?! I assume it is... how do you tell?

It's a 2002 172 by the way.

You will see the small metallic flakes in bright sunlight.

Don't know the answer to your question, but all I wanted to know was whether it was metallic or not. I'm pretty sure it is Pearl Black.

182's where Black Gold, 172's Pearl Black.

If its a 182 it's gold black, but gold black is a pearlescent paint
