Autoglym 3 for 2 Halfords.....

Car  Clive the Clio no. 2
Hi all,

im popping into halfords tonight to get some paint mixed up, and i noticed on their website that they are doing a 3 for 2 on all autoglym products,

i thought i could take advantage of this opportunity but i dont really need anything but its one free so......

whats the best things to get?

i already have tar remover, SRP and EGP, so any others which will benefit me more?

i was thinking the tyre dressing, fast glass and the hi foam interior shampoo?!

Good choice of 3?

I'd say so yeh.

Not keen on the tyre dressing myself. You could have a look at the wheel sealent? It's in a spray can. I found it was alright actually.

Other than that there's the engine cleaner if you ever do that and the vinyl and rubber care I think it is.

Different products for different uses despite both being for glass.

The AG Glass Polish will deep clean the glass and remove ingrained grime that the Fast Glass won't. They Fast Glass is better for weekly wipe downs.

Worth having both.

Other ones worth having are.

Bumper Care Gel
Engine and Machine Cleaner
Fast Glass
Glass Polish
Interior Cleaner/Shampoo (Spray Bottle one)
Vinyl and Rubber Care (Can be used on tyres too as it is the same product as the tyre dressing but with a lemon fragrance so you can use it on interiors etc if you wish)

The wheel sealant is the same product as there instant show shine, ideal for a quick spruce of your wheels but not very durable or in the same league as other wheel sealants.

I took the above advice long ago, keep all of those items topped up for my kit :)

Rich :hail:

Go easy with it on the interior if you don't like high gloss, apply it with a damp cloth for a satin finish.

Above in bold tbh. Or get the autoglym autofresh instead of interior cleaner.

Glass polish is ok imo, as is the interior cleaner...Don't use any of the other stuff.

im going to get the glass polish, interior cleaner and the vinyl and rubber care.

i forgot to mention that i bought the bumper care from i4d yesterday.

Yeh should of mentioned that. No where near as good as the PB wheel sealent but it did give the wheels a nice shine which IMO is probably a little better than the PB gives.

Did not find either added anything looks wise to the wheels - but they where polished before application of either.

Just got some Wheel Cleaner, Interior Shampoo & some Bumper Care at lunch.

Wanted soem alloy wheel seal, but like normal they didn't have any.
