Just curbed my wheel

Car  Golf GT & A4 Avant
Was just pulling up to a house for work, and one of the curb stones wasn't straight and I caught the corner that was sticking out. To say I was a little p!ss*d is an understatement. I've been driving 8 years and it's the first time I've done it.

Luckily it's only caught one spoke of the standard 182 cup'd wheels, but theirs 4 to 6 scratch/ grooves about 2" up from the edge of the rim.

Does anyone know if it's possible to refurb/ patch up just the affected area, or will the whole wheel need a complete refurb?
Is there any risk of it starting to corrode if I don't get it sealed.

I would post a pic but don't want to embarass myself any further :dapprove:

Wont corrode mate and you should be able to get the area repaired as long as its not too deep - Gutted for you I know how it feels when I bought mine 2 wheels neeeded refurbing so the missus ha them done for me and I curbed one the next day:dapprove: , only time ive ever done it

Dave picture of damage may help but regardless - nip to halfords get some rover stone grey! rub the area down and you can flash the area in! :) all will be good as new! ive repaired a few wheels in my time as most of my 182 have had some little mark out of them! i dont want to blow my own trumpet but i had a garage carry out the work on my first 182 and the paint came off in a few weeks wish was really upsetting! has never happened with the work ive carried out! and i got a better match! its all about taking your time!!! :)
