Alpine or Kenwood???

Hi was looking to buy a new ipod ready headunit was looking between the Alpine CDE-9880R or Kenwood KCD-W6541U has anybody got these or have any advise cheers:)

alpine 9880R all the way. i have it and its an awesome HU. My mates kenwood sticks out. alot.

its awesome and comes close to being just as good as using the upod.

press the silver button to enter search. select what you want to search. IE Kanyewest. because K is in the middle of the alphabet you would bress number 4 to get you to k, then you scroll to kanye.

takes getting used to but its flawless really. I highly reccomend that HU

Alpine every time!.. I've had a kenwood unit and like all my mates who had them at the time, they all eventually suffered from interference problems!
Had my alpine unit for nearly 5 years, never missed a beat! I've got a CDA-9812RB

Alpine, due to its flexibility. With an ai-net connection. You can add pretty much any add on you like!
Very good sound quality, well worth the money.

Cheers have now ordered the Alpine by the way its for the Subaru not the Clio 182:rasp:

I would have waited a few more weeks. New range will be due out just after new year. And the new Alpines are going to have bluetooth and full iPod and iPhone integration built in.

And even if you didn't want those audio shops will be wanting to clear the old models for less money.

Just looked on CAD and noticed they already have a couple of the new range in stock...
