Thought I'd ask as I can't see a reason why it can't just snake up in between the throttle body/slam panel. It's more that you can't quickly check the oil without risking getting your arm/clothes dirty!

Tbh on any car ive ever had ive never attempted to check the oil without knowing that I would get oil on my clothes!!

I would normally rely on that as a rough guess (it was saying ok although the dipstick was on MIN). I wanted to check it had clean oil as it was supposed to be services before I collected it.

It is a little stupidly placed but not too much of a bother but yeah Brake Fluid positioning is just ridiculous

It would be fine if the injector rail cover wasn't there.
