cam belt kit and change

Hi,

my clio 172 cup is due for a cam belt change. I've heard its a big job and that i have to sort out a cam belt kit prior to the work being done.

Anyone know where i can get a decent kit and how much to expect to pay.

If you know someone that can get you trade discount, it can all be had for £138. Renault even let me borrow their locking tool. Don't ask, don't get!

Why is there just about a £50 premium between a Gates cam belt and a Renault cambelt?

Is it code for, 'Renault, your paying for the name? or Gates will fail before Renaults belt lol ?
