By connectors do you mean the cables/sockets that plug into the back of the bulbs?

If so then yes thats right you wont have them as standard clios have 1 headlight feed where as sports have split feeds (1 for dipped, 1 for main). You have to do this yourself. Theres a guide in the members section about how to do it.

a really couldn't tell you tbh mate. should have really read up before buying! i showed him the back and he said i need some sort of connectors.

research is a great thing...

very basically, you need to splice the wire going to your current dipped beam, adding in another live and earth for the seperate full beam bulb. Then, you need to add a fuse into your fusebox so the full beam stays on with the dipped.

Its easy. Don't forget to take the car to an MOT test centre afterwards to get the lights aligned properly, or you'll be blinding people.

It is easy so long as you have some basic wiring/electrical knowledge.

My 1st Clio Grande i did this headlight conversion on and me knowing nothing took about 20mins creating 1 dipped wire feed. My friend on the other hand who basically asked what i wanted and has never seen Clios before managed to complete the other 3 feeds for me in about 15mins lol.

What about if you don't have any pins in the fusebox for an extra fuse tho, I know this is common on the low spec and earlier clio ph1's ? How did you manage to get round this Sargara??

I didnt. It still works and it still passes MOT. The issue is when you full beam the dipped beam goes off so no biggy.

No no. Mine didnt have the fusebox fitting so it meant both beams wouldnt stay on. When i switched to full beam my dipped beam went out. It still passed MOT however.

Ive since part-ex'd the car in for a 1.4 Si which comes with dual optics :p
