tv card advice?

I'd like to watch tv on my computer but if I'm honest, I don't know where to start lol. I would imagine I need a tv card?

Can someone help me out as I'm clearly a noob on the subject!

Hauppauge are pretty good. Depends if you wanna watch freeview or sky etc.

I don't know how it works.

I've got sky + downstairs, would I be able to watch that through the pc with a correct tv card?

Come with an aerial or you can plug a normal ariel in, comes with software so you can record, pause live tv etc.
