Rentech -Portsmouth, cambelt change

Car  182
Anyone used these? £295 all in, non genuine, I got my cup booked in there for next Saturday. Does anyone know if they take cash? ;)

They seem pretty cool, going to need a 72k service in about 6 months so I might be back again......
The belt they will use is the same make as the one they use on the V6, so im guessing it'll be fine......? £100 difference for genuine!

Do Rentech in Portsmouth have the same owners as Rentech in Poole?
Might seem like a silly question but my car has its Service History stamps with "Rentech" with a Poole address. Just wondered if they were the same company but with multiple workshops.

2 different companies mate, the one in portsmouth is the daddy. The boss is on here mike@rentech is his i.d

nooooo they're different. the Poole ones are fakes. lol.

Iirc Mike gets his parts from a Renault dealer nearby... so you're getting exactly the same as you would from renault.

They did say that someone had used the same name as them, good stuff then, Im looking forward to getting it done now and driving it properly...!

Rentech Mike has serviced my car every 6k miles from new, that's 18 times now. No one else has so much as touched it.

Trustworthy, caring, reliable, honest and great VFM.

The Renault service experience doesn't get any better IMO.

Im booked in at Rentech on the 14th, for a service, aux and cambelt change. Heard nothing but good words about them.

£295 all in? I've just been quoted £720 for a 72k service (£600 for cambelt +service then £120 for an aux belt - non genuine parts FWIW) by Mike. Surely you're wrong? Or is that the difference between a Cup and a Fatty?
