passenger wheel toeing in

  182, SQ7, Trafic
right, as some may know why wheel fell off and didn't think too much was damaged.

I've put a new hub and discs on and looking from the front of the car the wheel looks as its facing in slightly. The steering doesn't pull anyway when accelerating or braking, steering will is a little wobbly.

I'm thinking tracking probably needs re doing? Any other ideas. Cheers

Probably bent the rack. Get a steel rule on it to check its true. If its only minute, try and straighten it then re-do the tracking.

Only other thing would be a bent lower arm but if you were going forwards, in theory, it would toe out.

All the lower arm "looked" fine. I'll try the track rod too and see how square it is, but again, it didn't look bent.

ALso now the 25mm spacers are on the back feels like it wants to come round a lot more

it will if the track on the rear of the car is wider than the front ,all front wheel drive cars must have a wider track on the front to make them handle properly,,get a tape messure and see if the rear wheels are wider apart than the front if so thats why it wants to come round more

I've put the spacers on the front, there wider than the last ones I had and it handled fine then :s

Had the tracking done but still a rumble in the steering wheel at around 60-70. Wheel weight possibly came off when wheel went flying through the air?

Yeah definately fella, get the wheels balanced and it'll be fine. Did they find anything bent? Even so, couldn't have been much to if they got the movement on the rack ends!

I got under and had a look, few scuff marks underneath where it hit the floor and a tuny scuff on the bottom of the wisbone, underneath the bolt hole if you get me. All seems fine under there :)

I'll get them to balance the wheels next week! :)
