if you can get them to fit id do it mate, different is good

wowy, i was expecting same flameage
Gonna need to find out if i can definately fit them, very confused about all the et, bore size malarky.

Might start to clean them up and refurb them anyway just for something to do in the sun :)

Might need the offset reducing (machining) and the centre bore will be 57.1 (VAG) but you might get away with that depending on your stud conversion kit.

Should be coooool.

Go to your local machine shop.

My mate did and fitted VW alloys to his Toyota. £10 a corner.

Complete ball ache finding out the dimensions though. Although for you just take the car and the wheels down to the machine shop??

i would assume if you take 1 audi alloy and 1 clio alloy down to a machine shop they would be able to knock up some spacers? thats all they really need for the measurements

Ooooo i'm liking this idea alot now, gonna inspect the wheels in a few days, i know they've got some pretty bad laquer peel not sure what the tyres are like though, they've been sat in brother in laws garage for months, i'l get some pics up of them against the car;)

Anyone else on here got vag wheels on clio?

If i bore out the TT Comps, does that mean they wont be able to fit the TT again? or am i right in saying they will with spigot rings?

Im surprised that it looks good! Them wheels were always gash on audis, yet put them on a Clio and they look quality! Do it!

+1 when they were on my sisters TT i hated them so much, she's got Quattro wheels now they're lovely, but saw the Comps on a Polo on the interwebs and it got me thinking:approve:

is that drilling into the hubs? or getting some spacers and having them drilled?

He had spacers made up that bolted to his hub via the original holes.

Then the newly spaced holes with the correct sized centre were on the spacer, ready to take the new wheel.

ohright, so he had spacers made with the right sized hole for the wheel to sit on, or bored the wheels out?

sorry just a noob when it comes to this:rasp:

The spacers were the correct size for the cars original hubs and the new wheels.

That way the wheels don't have to be altered, and nor do the hubs. Everyones a winner baby thats the truth.
