0-60 trax

Car  clio 172 cup
hey first hope everyone had a good day at trax.
did anyone take there car down 0-60 strip, if so what sort of time did you get?
i had 1 run in my 172cup made 6.35 which i didnt think was to bad for first time. think if done few more runs could of got it bit quicker as when changed into 2nd went below 5k revs. overall was pleased with my run :D
 
Not bad at all mate!!

Wanted to but I was worried about it blowing up untill my fueling is fixed once and for all!
 
I ran a 5.9 with no stripping and loadsa bags of food n drink etc etc....lol

I just couldnt get traction though coz my tyres are f**ked and they wouldnt let me warm them up (although other people were doing it all day)! I reckon I could have got into the early 5's or even late 4's with some r888's on!

I ran 6.85 with no stripping and a boot full of the GF's and Gems hotel stuff & my photography stuff.

I even have people to validate this ;)
 
Was pretty suprised tbh as i saw a 172 run an 8sec before me. Cant wait to get my cage and some bits took out then hoping to run again to see how much of a difference it makes.

Do you have to hit 3rd to get to an offical 60? Bouncing off the limiter is about 63 isn't it? To get time checked do you need 3rd?
 
im pretty sure I used 3rd yeh. Didn't bounce off the limiter in any gear as thats a waste of time.
 
A standing looking yellow Saxo got 6.5... :/ I assume it had a VTS lump.
 
Well my point being, going to the limiter will just about hit 60 in 2nd. Obviously I didn't mean sit there on it if you need 3rd.
 
Saw the Cup run a 6.35, Was niiiiiiice!

Think i saw Boosh run is aswell!


Cant wait to hit it next year when i get mine! Anyone see the S2000 flip out?!
 
The more the strip the harder it will be to get the power down. I don't see a SC clio getting sub 5...
 
lets be fair that standard looking mk3 escort was rude.

2.9 seconds WTF faster than the drag cars lol
