Santa Pod today- 15.1 seconds.....Any good?

Should go a bit better IMO as u lot have VHT on Santa Pod. As this was your first time youll do better next time ;)

I believe there is a topic about drag race times here on the forum, search it and youll get a better idea on what are other peoples times on 1/4 mile.
 
best iv seen on the pod from a stanardish 1*2 was 14.9 with most runing 15.3 so good enough
 
yer mine is standad-ish, decat and RS tuner. My mates took out their back seats but i couldnt be bothered! I recon i could have got under 15 with enough runs. It was quite warm too, was saying 27 degrees so that cant have helped.
 
funnyest i saw was this guy in a mondeo who had t**t written down the side who crossed the line in 29 seconds at a speed of 58mph, which means his 0-60 is longer than half a min! o dear!
 
Lol thats terrible! There were some very fast cars there. My first ever run was against a 980bhp skyline that crossed the line in 9 seconds! I had him on the start though lol
 
yer i saw the mini, good time! That was my first time and i loved it, never thought i would have so much fun driving ina straight line. The old escort had a cossie lump in it, it was at trax too, did 0-60 in 2.8 seconds or something. Looks like a shitter though!

Yeh that escort was incredible that guy is a legend!
My best time was a 15.4 in my 182 cup. Great fun. I think we are going again in october dude. Join us :)
 
Only did 5 runs mate, F**king up my car was always lurking in the back of my mind!!

What 1/4 mile times did the escort run ? saw it at trax doin 2.8 sec 0-60's AMAZING sleeper !! :approve:
 
Ye if it was your first time you'll definitely improve, i haven't done it in ages, used to do it regular in my 106 GTI, best time was 15.2. its real addictive trying to beat your best time
 
yer it is, very addictive, cant wait for the next one. May take my seats out for that one! Need to beat 15.1!
 
yea definatly goin up again, dont know wether to run tho needs a lil tlc, got a good vid of u guys aswell, ill try n put it up on u tube if ya want
