Oil Sump

  dCi 65 + C2 (<Sold)
Put my car in for a service last week, then noticed it was p*ssing oil, took it back and my oil sump had a crack in it where the oil was leaking out. Apparently I didn't notice it before because the oil was thicker and wouldn't drip out at such a rate that I would actually notice it.

I was given two options after taking it back:

1. Replace oil sump - £70 + labour
2. Fill it up with oil every three weeks

I chose the former. Gutted as that's officially the first thing that's needed to be replaced for my Clio in almost a year's ownership.

Anybody else needed it replaced?

That is absolute horse s**t. They've damaged it somehow and you've ended up footing the bill, sumps do not just crack something cracks them. This is yet another example of why i'm of the opinion 99.999% of garages are cvnts and refuse to use them!
