Good value P1 scoob?

Personally i would look for one that has had the engine rebuild since the majority of them end up having one..? Looks nice though.

P1's are pretty much sex.

At that price I'd begin to question whether it's genuine or not. People tend to rep their type r's and attempt to sell them on as P1's.

If it is genuine than that's very cheap though.

I really want an RB5 :dapprove:

Knows Danny.

If I didn't have a girlfriend and do a 500 mile trip every two weeks to see her, I would have one. No problem. P1 front lip, Prodrive rear spoiler and Prodrive 18's in Anthracite. Done.

If.

:o

Aye, 250 there and the same back. 'Kin students eh.

I would post pics but don't want to spam the thread any more than we already are ;)

No not originals but if I have one fault with the RB5 is that it could have done with slightly bigger wheels!

Hence the pic :)

Ah fair enough. They look good on turini's, the wheels on the car above look a bit 'soft' if you see what I mean ? lol.

oh they're not the wheels I'd have on it but I know what you mean :)

Great cars and look awesome, best one ever imo but engines in them are made from chocolate and a rebuild aint cheap and i would bet that it will let go within 12 months of owning it. I know 4 people who have owned them and between them they 10 bottom ends!!! Typical subaru open deck cheap money saving block lol. Cheap to buy but not if u have problems with it!!

From reading on here, a lot of folk don't change the MAF sensor, this leads to the engine going bang. Aparently if the sensors changed there's less chance of them letting go.

I looked at getting a P1 ages ago, but got a bit put off.

Yep ur right this is one of the parts that causes the most engine failures and considering the parts are only 50-60 quid it would be worth changing the internals of it every 6 months so ur not landed with a hefty engine build.
When i was speakin to ollie at RCM he was saying that they have changed over 250 MAF internals since 2001!!!
