Short anwser - NO!.

At the moment you can only use the new features by themselfs and can not multitask with them... I think Microsoft will change it at some point though .

it will never be changed to allow multitasking, its advert funded so it makes you watch them on occasion.

Downloaded it, gave it an idea of the tracks I wanted then immediately went to minimize it. FAIL. Nice, but fairly useless if you actually want to use your 360.
