Impressed tbh, thought it would be heavier

About right, my FF182 is just shy of 1100kg. And Greeny's stripped 172 is just over 1000kg.

Thats cup weight you have there sir:)

Wow that's impressive.

Am I right in thinking they weigh the cars with a full tank, passengers and luggage in the boot for book figures?

What is it that makes a phase 2 heaver than a phase 1? Thinking about this the other day........ Only real thing i can think of is the 16" Renault wheels on the phase 2, compared to the 15" F1's of the phase 1...... what else?

Not all of them?

And infact, the phase 1 has more wiring, as they dont run uch's etc

Maybe a few KG's (at most) extra for the Xenon ballasts........

ph1's are light in standad form, how heavy are standard 172's not ph1's?, i know renault stripped 89kg off that for the cup

I'd be very happy if my 172 weighed that. It's not a lot more than my old 106 GTi weighed when that was stripped out.
I soon put it all back in again though when I realised how gash it looked, and how cold it got in there.

Still got ac, and aftermarket xenons, so certainly not uber stripped. Doesn't have the alloy bonnet either.

My Ph1 has the alloy bonnet and currently no spare wheel or kit so hope it would weigh around the 1000kg mark.

But then the lump of meat at the wheel adds another 90kg.....

Is that BTM's uber fancy wireless scales i spy? ;) you should see what the dynacup weighs in at!! you'll be surprised!

I need to weigh mine but it wont fit on the f**king flat bed. Stupid wide X85s :(

i've had the scales for a while, they're wireless, proper cool!

i'm not saying the weight of the dynacup as that's the question for BTM Performance's xmas competiton ;)
