To Carbon Or Not to Carbon

Evening all

right simple Question to Carbon bonnet or Not to Carbon bonnet my LY R27

4 situations to choose from....

Opt 1 --- Buy a Proper Carbon bonnet but sacrifice having a cup spoiler as a result.

Opt 2 --- Cup spoiler + have original bonnet Professionally Wrapped in Quality Carbon fibre vinyl for around £200

Opt 3 --- Cup spoiler + Buy own decent Carbon Vinyl and Fit myself circa £65

Opt 4 --- Cup spoiler + no carbon bonnet and leave be

Im looking a Opt 2 as the best at the moment, The place i would have it done is very well regarded in the Mini scene and produces some epic work including The Dodo Juice van

And yes i understand carbon is there to save weight and some people believe its crap if it aint real but hey ho Im just interested in the aesthestics at the moment.

So what are people thoughts?

Option 4 for me

I'm a big lover of Carbon, my cars covered in it! Stone chips like you wouldnt belive so for that lasting factory fresh look, leave the carbon

I'd go for the carbon bonnet personally, but on Liquid Yellow i dont think it will look great. The same goes for the Cup spoiler, just doesnt look right on LY as its more of a posers colour than anything else. That Elias spoiler from Ktec is the best bet, nice and subtle and looks good!

IMO, buy the carbon bonnet, then save up the money and get the cup spoiler at a later date. Or vice versa.

I would have to go to Option 2 myself. But then again I would. I used Totally Dynamic for my carbon wrap roof and the finish is superb.

Depends if you want to save weight or just look good?

The carbon bonnets look good on the R27/197/200 and as you have the front panel you shouldn't suffer too much from stone chips.

Black speedlines, carbon bonnet (why bother with a wrap??), fit two buckets, yellow cage, that elias spoiler thing.

Or just leave it as it is.
