My Centre Console Display is Dead!

The display that show radio station/temp has died, it's a ph1 so is it just case of whipping off the plastic cover and replacing a bulb(s)??

In my girlfriends 1.2 my toes used to poke up behind the glove box time to time, id hit the loom and the display would go, a wiggle with the wires got it back every time.

I had a look at the wiring, but it's still dead.

New bulb?

Shine a torch on it, Can you see the info on the display ?

If you can then the bulbs have gone.....

Yeh you can still see the display, any idea on what bulb i need? It's not ideal having to guess which radio station i'm tuned into.

Do I not just need to remove the cover above the display?

no, the top of the dash has to come away. its in the guides section.

as for bulbs halfords sell them but i cant remember the name,

they are tiny things im sure someone can get you the product code...

They're 1w wedge filament lamps, tiny things. Can't remember if there's two or three in the remote display.
