Local Lad selling his ITB'd 182

I have only seen it passing, and parked up. The other 172 cup in the pics is his old one I think.

my old 172 cup pushed over the 200 mark without itb's had extensive head work, cams re-profiled, valve seats modified....etc etc.... had filter, exhaust too.

Its had alot done but i dont believe the BHP claim reading the spec, and he may get 10K in parts, if he was to split it and but the car baack to standard.

He aint on here. Im good mates with Gaz but I do believe 234 BHP is a bit optimistic with what has been done to it. I still think my Trophy will rape the car, as well as the manifold ;). (was a joke before people get technical ).
When he first told me it was running nearly 240 BHP I laughed but he told me the internals had been uprated such as cams and forged pistons etc so I believed him. Going by the list of mods, it looks likes they haven't.

Ive been out in the car and it is pretty quick, corners well and is well looked after, It would make a nice track car if it wasn't so dear. He has only had it a month but is selling it because he is after something a bit different.

My friend went to look at this before it was sold. Very clean car.
But it was up for alot less last time.

if it's the one i think it is, it's a stock bottom end, but very heavily worked top end with cams

With a heavily worked head and ITBodies would the engine take a lot longer to warm up ?? And would the addition of cams make it idle rough from cold too ?

This is Ross M's old wagon. It wasn't ITB'd when he had it though. The headwork and wonky manifold was carried out by angelwork's, infact the F4R build thread on his website is in fact this engine! 234 is taking the piss, it was a fairly quick 182 when i last drove it but had its problems from the word go. Its a bit of a mess and has had alot of hard miles!! It may have been rebuilt since then? Who know's!!

if anyone pay'd 10k for this car they would have to be on crack or something , 10k is a piiiiisssss take price , i dont know how people can advertise things like this thinking they are going to sell for that sort of money !!! complete rip of price , would say it is worth 6k tops!! i only sold my evo 8mr for £8500 on a 54 reg which was running nearly 400bhp

On a similar note, I dont think ive ever seen a 'tidy' ITB set up, they all seem very messy especialy with the AC pipe, god knows why no ones made up a new one to go round the trumpet... its not hard!

that car was owned by some one on here. it had white wheels before and was up for 7k and he now wants 10k no chance
