Possible location for engine oil leak.

Decided to take the Plenum off today and I'd noticed the head of this bolt had snapped off (see red circle in the photos below). When I felt down the back of the rocker cover I could feel wet engine oil and the mainfold had oil on it as well.

I've smeared sealant around that area as a temporary fix, whether it'll do anything I don't know. Question is, can that bit be removed without having to take the cambelt off? or does the full rocker cover need to come off?

The top breather plate can be removed on its own yeah, you'l need some sealant to put it back on with if its not got a gasket on it...mine didnt so I use sealant

It's definitely got a gasket cos I could see that when I feeling down the back of that area. Does the breather plate have any oil in it? Or should i expect anything once I've removed it?

unsure, but if you only need one I should have one somewhere.

If you want it remind me and il bring it Friday, thats if you dont need it beforehand

Thanks mate, Yeah I'll give you a shout if I've not managed to get one before then.

Suppose I could even use one that holds the Plenum down.
