Iceberg 172
Hi guys,
I got my Iceberg thinking "I'll stick the coilies and turini's from my cup on it and leave it at that".
Well a week or 2 has passed and I'm now going to put my Stealth exhaust on and I'm looking at the K Tec website (which is just dangerous!) more and more!
I now have a list of mods I'm wanting to do in the near future!
I am impressed with the value for money though!
For example, mods that will probably get done on pay day are...
CF Splitter
Bolt in Top mounts
Silvervisions
Uprated Engine Mounts
That comes to under £400 which I think is a lot for the money.
I also went in a 172 which is std apart from a Group N Remap and the power delivery is definately improved as well as the raised limiter being a lot less intrusive.
So the next hit will be...
Matched inlets
Group N Remap
KTR Fast Road Brake setup (front for now)
That's £540 ish. Again, not bad imo.
I've never really had much of a plan of attack with a car... I've normally brought a car with a few bits done and just improved on it or got a car and ordered a load of stuff, fitted them then get bored and sell it! So actually planning ahead and doing mods in stages seems like a great idea in my head and doesn't mean a massive wedge of cash in one hit.
I just wondered how "the Modding Bug" has affected you and when do you see it as your car is complete?
Also do you think the Clio 1*2 is a cheap car to mod? I'm quite suprised really.
