LoL at £80+ vat for a rubber hose on the 172!

As above bottom rad hose is leaking, but as this goes to heater matrix etc, it's all one hose. Does anybody know where i can get a new one cheaper? Cheers in advance.

I got quoted for the bottom hose at Toomeys, £123 with vat, so you have a bargain. Only other alternatives are Samcos if you can buy individual hoses, or one from a breakers.

it was such a pain to get off i dont fancy a breakers one in case it happens again! Why must everything on my cost so much!!!

you would also be surprised at how little we make on some parts, the retail prices are set by Renault not the dealership

not sure about renault mark up but volvo parts prices are set by volvo and there is not much money atall made on parts i think its around 10% if that
