Anyone with a 200 cup, quick favour please.

I have requested some parts for my new car which is currently on order (200 cup) which is yet to arrive, however they I have been asked chassis number which at present i dont have as i dont have the car (why they cant just order from car type i dont know..?!).

Could someone with a 200 cup please PM me their chassis/VN number so i can use it to order the parts please?

Hi,

The parts I am after for the 200 cup are:

- Set of door handles (n/s and o/s)
- Full set of door mouldings (n/s and o/s)
- Wing mirror cases (n/s and o/s)

Basically i am going to get all of the above sprayed to match the car (racing blue) by a body shop, so if any of the above are listed with a 'primer option' then i'd prefer that part number for each part..

I wanted the above as spares incase i decided to go back to the matt black (as the 200 cup is standard).

Why not buy the above parts from a non-cup 200? They'll already be smooth, and easier to paint.

Handles might be a problem. They have the buttons for the keyless entry. I'd assume they'd be a straight swap too.

Sounds like the easiest option then is cup handles and then everything lese non-cup (so its primed). lol.

Door handles from the more basic models don't include the button.

I think on the MK3 Clio's, you either get black plastic handles, or silver handles with buttons. Then again I don't think the GT has keyless start etc. Something to look into.

Door bump Strips:
77 01 476 435 - Drivers door
77 01 477 317 - Drivers door - rear
77 01 476 431 - Passenger door
77 01 477 316 - Passenger door - rear

82 00 801 908 - Passenger side
82 00 801 906 - Drivers side.

On a side note, you could PM "Wests Renault" who will provide you easily with the parts you require.

I'm not putting a price next to the parts as they vary so much dealer to dealer, but they come out on average at about £30 per part (apart from the door handles which are about £15 per side).

It appears i need to find a model which would have pre-primed handles and that would be non-keyless entry (as the cup is) and then i presume a model which would have pre-primed door mouldings and wing mirror cases. Pre-primed so that they will be much easier to spray (or are meant to be sprayed anyway).

Will do mate, i am just doing my reserach on models which will have the items pre-primed, once i have some answers i'll post up.

Any regular 200 will have the strips primered ready for spraying to match Rob.
