dont they need to be run of an amp as a standard HU isnt good enough to power them?

Ive got an amp at the moment which is powering my sub but it has two free channels to spare, can i run a sub and door speakers off the same amp?
LOL i doubt sound deadening will help as they can hardly be heard!

i had those in my mk4 fezzy, they were running from a 4ch amp, had 2 channels for the sub and those run of the spare chans, they sounded pretty good.

you are running an incorrect impedance on the speakers so its sound s**te,you'll eventually kill them, either disconnect the tweeters or buy a set of componets for upfront

So if i disconnect the original tweeters will it be okay?
And can i run my half so that half is for the sub and the rest is for the speakers (4channel amp)

have you changed the high/low pass setting on the amp, assuming it has one for seperate channels, low pass for sub and high pass for speakers.

according to the manual on the link you provided you can change it, if you have your sub on channel 1 & 2 use the low pass setting, and your speakers on channel 3 and 4 use the high pass/flat setting. Im not an expert just an educated guess.
